1SCAN is a Windows based software application that manages document scanners for 1MAGE installations
1SCAN’s administration options let you easily select a capture path, transfer method, scanning mode, and pre-indexing routine for your scanned images. Images may be magnified, enhanced, rotated, collected into batches, and appended with user notes.
1SCAN lets you capture images on either your PC’s internal drive, on an external network or NFS mounted drive and then transfer them to an indexing location on your image server – this flexible combination of capture and transfer options even supports scanning from remote locations.
Groups images in secure batches by scanner ID or user ID
Attaches text annotations (imprints) to images at scan time that couple dynamic system information such as batch code, date, and time with static user-supplied information such as operator name (scanner specific)
Four versions include:
1SCAN Basic: Index keys are entered through application or 1MAGE product
1SCAN Pre-Indexing: allows up to 3 index keys to be entered at scan time
1SCAN Barcode: Use of barcodes eliminates some manual entry
1SCAN Barcode/Patch Code: Use of barcodes and patch codes to streamline indexing
